Somers Gallery was founded in 2015 as a project space under the name of Chalton Gallery by Javier Calderon.  In 2022  the gallery changed its name to Somers Gallery. While Chalton Gallery championed mainly  Mexican artists  and British artists in their early career, Somers Gallery focuses on Latin American and British artists across generations.  

Our mission is to champion artists committed to Society, Nature and Art of the highest order. with a programme of exhibitions, live events and special projects  in our gallery, off-site and online.

Our vision is to become a  leading gallery which is able to respond and adapt to the ongoing   unprecedented  changes while also preserving the integrity of Art from its historical and mythological tradition.

Somers Gallery is located in Somers Town, London, a historic neighbourhood now at the forefront of Global innovation. We are surrounded by leading global institutions and corporations in AI, Fintech, and Life Sciences. We collaborate regularly with our neighbours, including corporate, institutions and grassroots organisations. We are also really proud to be actively engaged in the activities taking place in our progressive neighbourhood.
